Installation Guide

Tools Required: 3mm Allen key

Time Required: 10 minutes

  1. Locate TPS covers on throttle body (round covers on intake manifold)
  2. Remove OEM bolts using 3mm Allen key
  3. Clean mounting surface with dry cloth
  4. Position brass covers with Union Jack oriented correctly
  5. Install stainless bolts and tighten evenly to hand-tight specification

Brass Finish Care

  • Natural Aging: Brass develops rich patina over time—this is normal and adds vintage character
  • Cleaning: Use microfiber cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners that remove lacquer
  • Polishing: Apply brass polish 1-2 times yearly if you prefer bright finish
  • Protection: Store indoors when possible to slow patina development

British Heritage Styling

The brass finish evokes classic British motorcycle aesthetics from the 1960s-70s golden era, when polished brass badges and components were hallmarks of premium engineering. Paired with Union Jack iconography, these covers celebrate Triumph’s Hinckley heritage in subtle yet distinctive fashion.
