The Motone Rear Brake Caliper Relocation Bracket Kit - MTE060 is an accessory kit that moves the rear brake caliper from the standard 6 o'clock (under-swing-arm) position to the 12 o'clock (on top of the swing-arm) position. Machined from aircraft-grade billet aluminum alloy, and coming with a braided steel brake line and matching accessories, the product reduces the risk of mud splash, is easy to clean, and retains the original ABS sensor. It is specifically designed for Triumph Bonneville LC models from 2016 onwards, such as the Street Twin, T100, T120, Street Scrambler, and Street Cup.

SPECIFICATIONS

  • Material: High-grade aviation billet aluminum alloy, precision CNC machined
  • Caliper mounting position: from under the swing-arm (6 o'clock) → to on top of the swing-arm (12 o'clock), improving splash resistance and maintenance operations
  • Brake line: Longer, stainless steel braided hose to accommodate the new position
  • Included accessories: Banjos, bolts, copper washers, complete as a kit
  • Compatible vehicles: Triumph LC (Liquid Cooled) models from 2016 onwards: Street Twin, Street Scrambler, Street Cup, T100, T120
  • Continues to use the original ABS system without requiring upgrades
  • Product code: MTE060

INSTALLATION AND USE

  • Bolt-on installation: Easy to install without additional fabrication, retaining original ABS lines and sensor.
  • Position change: Repositioning the caliper to the 12 o'clock position helps prevent mud splash, making inspection and maintenance easier.
  • Technical note: After installation, the ABS system must be bled — requires an OBD2 device compatible with TUNE ecu or Dealer Tool to send commands to the vehicle's ECU.
  • The brake line should be adjusted to avoid contact with the shock absorber or other components.
