PRODUCT INFORMATION
The Cardo Packtalk EDGE 2nd Helmet Kit is the ideal solution for those who use multiple helmets. This kit allows you to easily attach the Packtalk EDGE communication device to a second helmet without having to detach the main unit. With high-quality audio from JBL, you will have an excellent sound experience on every journey.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

- Two types of microphones included – Boom mic for full-face/jet helmets and wired mic for enclosed full-face helmets.
- External EDGE mounting cradle – Easily transfer the Cardo EDGE device between helmets in seconds.
- Versatile installation accessory kit – Includes 3M adhesive pad and mechanical clamp, compatible with most full-face or open-face helmets with ear covers.
- Lightweight, compact design – Helps maintain comfort and safety throughout long journeys.
INSTALLATION AND USAGE
- Step 1: Attach the device cradle
Use the included clamp or 3M adhesive pad to secure the Cardo EDGE cradle to the left outer shell of the helmet. The clamp is suitable for helmets with padded edges, while the 3M adhesive is ideal for smooth surfaces.
- Step 2: Install the JBL speakers
Attach the Velcro pads to the ear cavities inside the helmet. Mount the JBL speakers in the correct position for optimal sound transmission. Ensure the speakers do not cause discomfort when wearing the helmet.
- Step 3: Attach the microphone
For full-face helmets: use the wired microphone, placing it inside the chin bar. For 3/4 or open-face helmets: use the boom mic, attaching the body to the cheek pad, and adjusting the mic boom towards your mouth.
- Step 4: Connect wires and test
Connect the wires from the speakers and microphone to the Cardo cradle. Secure the wires with the included adhesive clips to ensure they are tidy and not tangled.
Then, attach the Cardo EDGE device to the cradle, power it on, check the sound, Bluetooth connection, and intercom to ensure all functions are working properly.
NOTE:
Before adhering any components, clean the contact surface.
Ensure the device is not tangled or causes discomfort when wearing the helmet.
Do not pull the wires too taut, to avoid breaking or damaging the device.
